1 favoured, 142 crore Indians ignored: Priyanka Gandhi’s ‘Adani’ jab at government in debut Parliament speech

Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, in her debut speech in the Lok Sabha, hammered the BJP-led government, accusing it of undermining the Constitution and favouring select individuals over the nation’s 142 crore citizens.

Without mentioning industrialist Gautam Adani by name, Gandhi took a veiled dig at the ruling party over its alleged ties to the billionaire.

“Our Constitution is a ‘suraksha kavach’; it protects people. Sadly, the ruling party has made all attempts to break that shield,” Gandhi said during her address.
