Tamil Nadu’s Chennai Cyber Crime team arrests Telangana man for distributing child pornography – Tamil Nadu News

The Chennai Cyber Crime team arrested a resident of Telangana, Vanga Raghunath Reddy, for his involvement in the circulation of child pornography. The arrest comes after a thorough investigation by the West Zone Cyber Crime team, which was alerted to the illegal distribution of explicit material.

The investigation revealed that the X App was used for communication, while links to child pornography were shared on the Signal App. Using advanced cyber techniques, the team traced the source of the videos to Telangana, where they identified Reddy as the individual responsible for the distribution.

After tracking the digital footprints, the team identified the source of the videos as being from Telangana. They subsequently traveled to the state and arrested Reddy, who was found to be the individual responsible for sharing the disturbing material. Following his arrest, Reddy was brought to Chennai, where the Cyber Crime team took immediate action to disable the accounts used in the distribution of the child pornography.

The investigation is still ongoing, with the Cyber Crime team working to uncover the source of the videos and determine if there are others involved in the illicit operation. Authorities have also reported retrieving several links associated with the sale of child pornography, and they have downloaded and stored videos for further analysis.
