The Delhi Police on Saturday issued a notice to AAP MLA Mohinder Goyal and his staff following the discovery of fake documents during a crackdown on illegal Bangladeshi immigrants.
According to sources, Goyal’s signature and official seal were found on forged documents seized by police. Goyal, who represents the Rithala constituency in northwest Delhi, was summoned for questioning by senior officers at 5:30 pm.
The notice comes days after the fake documents were reportedly traced to Goyal’s possession. Authorities are investigating the matter further.
