Amit Shah targets ‘dynastic’ parties, hails PM Narendra Modi’s record at BJP national convention

Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that the “arrogant alliance” of all dynastic parties led by the Congress nurtures the politics of corruption, nepotism, and appeasement. He also emphasised that the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) operates on the principle of “Nation First.”

In his remarks on the second day of the BJP’s national convention at Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam on Sunday, the Union Home Minister highlighted that in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, two camps will face each other.

“Now you will have to choose between the arrogant alliance of all the dynastic parties under the leadership of Congress or the BJP-led NDA under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“This arrogant alliance nurtures the politics of corruption, nepotism, and appeasement, while the BJP-led NDA alliance operates on the principle of Nation First,” he said.

Shah further asserted that Congress is the “root of corruption in this country,” alleging that the party and the Opposition INDIA bloc exploit the Dalit, tribal, and backward communities as their vote bank.

“Congress destroyed the media, the Election Commission, CAG, the court, and dissolved parties using Article 356 90 times. When Congress indulges in so much corruption, then why will its friends stay behind?” he queried.

He also questioned the INDIA bloc’s “objective in politics.”

“Sonia Gandhi’s aim is to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister, Sharad Pawar’s aim is to make his daughter Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee’s aim is to make her nephew the Chief Minister, Stalin’s aim is to make his son the Chief Minister, Lalu Yadav’s aim is to make his son the Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackeray’s aim is to make his son the Chief Minister, and Mulayam Singh Yadav ensured that his son becomes the Chief Minister,” the Union Minister said.

He also mentioned that in 75 years, the country has witnessed “17 Lok Sabha elections, 22 governments, and 15 Prime Ministers.”

“Every government in the country has attempted to bring development according to its own time. But today I can say without any confusion that the work of overall development, development of every sector, and development of every individual has been accomplished only in the 10 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

The Union Home Minister also affirmed that the country has decided that Modi will become the Prime Minister again and “there is no doubt about it.”

“For the first time, Prime Minister Modi called for liberating the country from the symbols of slavery. In Modi 3.0, this country will free itself from terrorism, extremism, and Naxalism and move towards becoming a peaceful and prosperous India.”
