Arrow Electronics expands AI capabilities for ArrowSphere Cloud

Arrow Electronics Inc. has announced enhancements to its ArrowSphere Cloud platform, introducing advanced AI tools designed to streamline operations for its channel partners.

The upgraded platform enables users to create custom AI assistants that leverage their own data, workflows, and vendor-specific information. These assistants are designed to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and accelerate time-to-market for partners.

Arrow Electronics is a global provider of electronic components and enterprise computing products. It also provides technology solutions to manufacturers and service providers across major industries.

“ArrowSphere’s augmented generative AI tools will transform how our channel partners interact with their customers,” said Eric Gourmelen, vice president and chief technology officer of ArrowSphere Cloud and AI. “Partners can now deploy persona-based AI assistants that deliver tailored solutions using their unique data at unprecedented speed.”

The company initially launched ArrowSphere Assistant, powered by ArrowSphere AI, in March 2024. It intended to address critical cloud business functions, including financial operations (FinOps), security operations (SecOps), and sustainability.

The latest enhancements significantly expand the platform’s functionality. Specifically, they offer a range of ready-to-use cases and prompts to accelerate customization and improve partner go-to-market strategies.

The updated tools allow AI assistants to support various stages of the sales lifecycle, from marketing and sales enablement to business support and product catalog management. By integrating partner and vendor data, these AI capabilities aim to enhance end-customer support and drive business growth for channel partners.

The enhanced AI tools are currently available in limited release to ArrowSphere users.

Arrow Electronics reported global sales of $33 billion in 2023.
