Rituals ahead of the mega Ram Mandir ‘Pran Pratistha’ (consecration) ceremony in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, start today and continue till January 21. The grand Ram Mandir inauguration will take place on January 22, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the chief guest at the event. Preparations have been in full swing leading to the grand temple opening, with the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra (Ram Mandir trust) expecting more than 7,000 people, including politicians, industrialists, saints and celebrities, attending the grand opening. Besides, nearly 100 representatives from different countries will attend the consecration ceremony.
All the golden doors in the ‘Garbhgriha of Bhagwan Shri Ramlalla Sarkar’ have been installed, the temple trust said on X on Monday. Notably, the Ram Lalla sculpture made by Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj has been selected for installation at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
