As the days for the much-anticipated ‘pran pratishtha‘ (consecration ceremony) of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya draw closer, here are the latest photos of the finishing touches given to the temple.

The golden door of the sanctum sanctorum (garbhagriha) is ready and this is where the idol of Ram Lalla will be installed following the consecration ceremony on January 22.

Another image shows a stunning view of the Ram Temple with lights turned on inside the temple premises ahead of the ‘pran pratishtha‘.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the ‘pran pratishtha‘ at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other dignitaries will also attend the consecration ceremony in the temple town.

Thousands of seers from across the country have been invited for the ceremony and the invitees also include families of the labourers who erected the Ram Temple.

Over 7,000 people are on the invitee list of the temple trust, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, including Bollywood celebrities, cricketers and industrialists.

Ahead of the ‘pran pratishtha‘ of the Ram Temple, PM Modi, on January 12, said he will start an 11-day ‘anusthan‘ (special ritual).

In an audio message posted on his official YouTube channel, PM Modi said he was fortunate to be a witness to what he described as a “historic” and “auspicious” occasion.
