Former minister and Karnataka BJP MLA Munirathna was egged, literally, by unknown people during an event in Bengaluru on Wednesday. Munirathna was participating in a programme organised to mark the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the state capital’s Nandini layout area.
After the incident, the BJP accused Congress workers of throwing eggs at the MLA.
The former minister was allegedly attacked while he was walking back after attending the public event. The incident was caught on camera and the video was gaining significant traction on social media.
Reportedly, the RR Nagar legislator was walking to his car after attending the Vajpayee birth anniversary celebrations, when the incident occurred.
