Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting with Agriculture Minister Arjun Munda, Piyush Goyal at the Ministry of Home Affairs today. He is likely to discuss farmers’ demands in the meeting.
The secretaries of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the agriculture secretary and the secretaries of different ministries were also present at the meeting.
Meanwhile, the farmers’ protest entered its fourth day today and several unions have also called for a ‘Bharat Bandh’ from 6 am to 4 pm. The protesting farmers will be participating in a massive ‘chakka jam’ across major Indian roads from 12 pm to 4 pm.
