Two men planned a daylight robbery in Haryana’s Karnal. One of them waited, with the bike ready to go, while the other snatched a woman’s earring. The two were almost successful in their attempt when a bus collided with the bike.
The two robbers managed to run away, but they ended up leaving their bike behind. The entire incident was captured on CCTV.
The robbers targeted a woman who was travelling in an e-rickshaw. One of the robbers was sitting with her in the rickshaw while the second person was following them on a bike.
When they reached a less crowded area, the robber in the e-rickshaw got out of the vehicle, paid the fare, and then suddenly snatched the woman’s earring. He then ran towards his partner-in-crime.
The video shows the second man closely watching the robbery attempt and turning around his bike as soon as the robbery attempt is successful.
However, a bus driver noticed the robbery and slammed his bus into the bike in an attempt to thwart the robbery.
The two men hastily got up and ran, leaving the bike behind.
Police have seized the bike and are analysing the CCTV footage. Further investigation is underway.
