Karnataka students in Maulana Azad Model school forced to clean toilets, do gardening at principal’s house


Students of a government school in Karnataka’s Kalaburagi were allegedly made to clean toilets of the school and even do gardening work at their principal’s residence. The principal of the school has been accused of indulging in this act for the last one year.

The incident happened in one of the Maulana Azad Model schools, which was started by the Karnataka government across the state under the Directorate of Minorities.

The matter came to light after the father of a boy from the same school wrote a complaint letter to the police seeking a thorough investigation and immediate action into the matter.
