Cold wave conditions prevailed in Punjab as a layer of thick fog enveloped the city on Monday, obstructing visibility. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that cold wave condition was observed in isolated pockets in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. In Amritsar, the visibility was up to 200 meters, said the recent IMD bulletin.
