West Bengal Minister Siddiqullah Chowdhury stoked controversy on Saturday by saying the Hindus should vacate Gyanvapi. He also noted that mosques shouldn’t be converted into temples.
Warning Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) minister said, “We will gherao (surround) Adityanath if he comes to Bengal.”
Meanwhile, West Bengal BJP chief Sukanta Majumdar blamed West Bengal chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for trying to create tensions in the state.
