West Bengal: Artist Chotan Ghosh Monu from Durgapur makes Ram Mandir model with 20 kg of biscuits

A young artist in West Bengal’s Durgapur created a prototype of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya with 20 kg of biscuits.

The artist, Chotan Ghosh Monu, says it took him five days to build the model, which stands at 4 feet.

Apart from biscuits, thermocol and plywood were used to make this model, he said.

According to Monu, he made similar replicas after the successful Chandraayan mission.

The Pran Pratishtha or the consecration ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol in the Ayodhya temple will take place on January 22.
