Frank Sinatra’s daughter gave Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg the thumbs up to use the late jazz singer’s likeness in their new Still G.I.N. commercial.
Tina Sinatra, 76, said in an exclusive quote to PEOPLE that seeing an artificial intelligence replica of her father engage with the two rappers in the time-bending commercial was “thrilling and surreal.”
“To see Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg alongside my dad and Sammy Davis Jr. in such a revolutionary way is both thrilling and surreal,” she said. “It’s a celebration of timeless artistry, breaking barriers and the enduring legacy of collaboration across generations.”
The new ad dropped on Tuesday, Dec. 10, and features Dre, 59, and Snoop, 53, interacting with the AI versions of Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. Sinatra died in 1998, while Davis Jr. died in 1990.
In it, the late musicians are chatting in formal wear at an elegant bar when they spot Dre and Snoop walking through the crowded space. After seeing the other bar patrons fawn over the two rappers, the “Fly Me to the Moon” crooner asks, “Now, who the hell are these guys?”
In response, Davis. Jr. says, “I heard those are the new gangsters in town.”
Intrigued, Sinatra asks their bartender to introduce them to the newcomers, after which they decide to share a drink together. “So what’s your pleasure? What are you guys drinking?” Davis Jr. asks, to which Snoop and Dre name their gin brand.
“Okay. Still G.I.N. for everybody!” Sinatra says to a cheering crowd.
According to a press release obtained by PEOPLE, the production team worked in close partnership with the Sinatra and Davis estates in order to ensure a faithful representation of the late stars.
Sinatra shared three children with his first wife, Nancy Barbato Sinatra: Nancy, Frank Jr. and Tina.
Tina told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview in 2015 that her father “loved life.”

Still G.I.N — which launched in February and is co-owned by Dre and Snoop — joined forces with their creative agency, Rosewood Creative, acclaimed director Dave Meyers, and the generative AI company Metaphysic to create the ad.
The release states that the ad captures “the balance of classic and modern” that defines the gin brand and “cinematically bridges past, present and future generations of superstars.”
The ad airs during The Voice season finale, which also marks the conclusion of Snoop’s first season as a coach on the show.
