Yogi Adityanath offers prayers at Gyanvapi complex days after court allowed ‘puja’


Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Gyanvapi premises on Tuesday, where he worshipped the ‘Vyas Tehkana’. During the evening, the Chief Minister also paid obeisance at the Kashi Vishwanath temple.

According to the details, Yogi Adityanath also witnessed the sculptures installed in the ‘Vyas Tehkana’ and worshipped the Nandi.

The Chief Minister’s visit to Varanasi comes ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to his parliamentary constituency.

PM Modi is likely to visit Varanasi on February 24-25.

During his visit, Yogi Adityanath inspected the Rs 475-crore Amul plant set up on a 30-acre land and met representatives and legislators of the BJP at the Circuit House.

He also reviewed development projects.

The Chief Minister directed officials to conclude all preparations for Modi’s visit in time and stressed the need to ensure that the city is clean.
