AAP to hold Ram Dhun ceremonies across Gujarat ahead of Ram Mandir consecration

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced Ram Dhun ceremonies across Gujarat on January 21, a day ahead of the consecration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

The party’s Gujarat chief, Isudan Gadhvi, stated that AAP will hold the Ram Dhun ceremonies in every Taluka of the state.

“The AAP’s vision is to bring Ram Rajya through improving education and healthcare facilities,” Gadhvi said as he announced the January 21 event.

This follows AAP’s decision to hold the Sundarkand Path recitation event in Delhi on the first Tuesday of every month. The first Sundarkand Path was organised yesterday across the national capital.

AAP Chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal participated in the Sundarkand Path recital and havan in Delhi’s Rohini.

The ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony of the Ram Mandir is scheduled to take place on January 22, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the chief guest. More than 7,000 people, including politicians, industrialists, saints, and celebrities from across the country, as well as nearly 100 representatives from different nations, are expected to attend the grand opening.

The seven-day rituals preceding the ceremony commenced in Ayodhya on Tuesday. The sculpture of Ram Lalla, crafted by Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj, has been selected for installation.
