After Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundarajan, BRS leader K Kavitha’s social account hacked

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader K Kavitha on Wednesday said her social media account was allegedly hacked. She said her social media account “experienced a brief unauthorised access”.

In her posts on her Instagram, Facebook and X accounts, Kavitha said a complaint would be filed with the cyber police.

“My social media account experienced a brief unauthorised access. The suspicious activities and contents during this time do not reflect our values. Security measures have been reinforced, and we will observe a downtime to ensure security and we appreciate your understanding as my office addresses this issue promptly,” Kavitha wrote.

“We will be officially lodging a complaint with the cyber police in this regard,” she said.

Earlier, Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan’s X account was hacked. The cyber crime police were active in recovering her account.

Soundararajan’s photo was deleted from the account profile. The technical team of the Governor’s House tried to recover the account, but hackers changed the email address and mobile number given on the page, so it was not possible to recover the page.

Later on Wednesday, the Telangana Governor tweeted a picture of herself receiving a model of Ayodhya Ram Temple and said she recovered her account after she was not able to access it for the past three days.

“Dear friends and followers, I hope this message finds you all well. I would like to express my gratitude to @TelanganaPolice (cyber cell) @TelanganaCOPs, Indian #cyber crime coordination centre (14C) and @XIndia for recovering my X account. In the past three days, I was unable to access my account @DrTamilisaiGuv, but now it’s fully recovered and secure,” she tweeted.

“Moving forward, I wish to continue sharing good work and spreading positivity via this platform with heartfelt appreciation,” she said.
