Andhra Pradesh driver electrocuted as truck catches fire after coming in contact with live wires


In Andhra Pradesh’s NTR district, a man was electrocuted after the truck he was driving came in contact with live wires on Saturday night. The truck was engulfed in fire.

Upon learning about the incident, the fire brigade reached the spot and brought the fire under control.

The body of the driver has been shifted to the Mylavaram Government Hospital. An investigation is still underway.

Earlier, on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, four people were killed, and 15 others were injured after a truck collided with a bus in Andhra Pradesh’s Nellore district.

The incident occurred at the Musunur toll plaza in Nellore when a truck, carrying livestock, lost control and collided with another truck carrying iron. Due to the impact of the collision, the iron-laden truck lost control and hit the passenger bus which was coming from the opposite direction.
