Andhra Pradesh polls: Telugu Desam Party’s N Lokesh assures “super 6 guarantees”

As a reminder of what his father and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu had promised to the people of Andhra Pradesh in May 2023, TDP National Secretary Nara Lokesh on Sunday said the “Super six guarantees,” that were promised would be delivered to every doorstep if the TDP secures victory.

The six guarantees aim to benefit students, unemployed youth, women, and farmers. Addressing a gathering in Palasa, Lokesh outlined the party’s commitments.

Under the plan, the TDP and Jana Sena government would generate 20 lakh jobs for youth, along with providing a monthly unemployment allowance of Rs 3,000 until employment is secured.

Additionally, parents of school-going children would receive Rs 15,000 annually through the Thalliki Vandanam scheme. Farmers, on the other hand, would benefit from an annual grant of Rs 20,000 under the Annadata scheme.

To address the issue of rising LPG prices, the TDP proposes the Deepam scheme, which would provide three free cylinders annually to every household.

Furthermore, the TDP aims to ensure access to purified drinking water with tap connections for every household in the state.

Under the Aadabidda Nidhi scheme, women aged 18 to 59 would receive a monthly grant of Rs 1,500. Additionally, women would have the opportunity to travel for free on Andhra Pradesh RTC buses.

The TDP’s “Super Six Guarantees” signal the party’s commitment to addressing key issues and improving the lives of citizens across Andhra Pradesh.
