Milind Deora quits Congress to join Shinde Sena, says ‘on path of Vikas’

Former Union Minister Milind Deora on Saturday resigned from the Congress party and is expected to join the Shiv Sena led by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde later today.
“I have tendered my resignation from the primary membership of Congress, ending my family’s 55-year relationship with the party,” Deora said in a post on X (formerly Twitter). Speaking to reporters, hours after his announcement, Deoria said, “I am walking on the path of development.”
