Properties linked to Karnataka Congress MLA raided by Enforcement Directorate


The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids on Saturday on six properties linked to Ballari Congress MLA Nara Bharath Reddy. The searches included the Congress MLA’s residences in Ballari and Bengaluru, an office in Chennai, his father’s office, his uncle Pratha Reddy’s residence, and his office.

The raids on his Ballari residence began at 6:30 a.m, with a team of officers arriving from Bengaluru to conduct the operations.

The MLA’s family owns granite quarry businesses in Koppal district and Andhra Pradesh’s Ongole district.

Notably, the MLA had earlier distributed pressure cookers across the city of Ballari on the occasion of his birthday.
