Suchana Seth, the Bengaluru firm CEO, accused of killing her four-year-old son at a service apartment in Goa, had travelled to Goa just three days before the incident.
According to police sources, Suchana Seth had spent five days in South Goa — from December 31 to January 4 — at the service apartment.
She left for Bengaluru on January 4 and returned to Goa on January 6 in the evening. She checked into the Sol Banyan Grande service apartment at around 11:30 pm the same day.
Following the incident, a postmortem of the boy was done, which revealed he had died nearly 36 hours ago, according to which, accused Suchana Seth must have killed her son within two hours of checking in the service apartment.
It was believed she later spent nearly 19 hours with the minor’s body in the same room.
She did not call or message anyone throughout the day on January 7. Then, by around 11:45 pm, she called the reception desk and asked them to book a cab for her, so she could leave for Bengaluru.
Nearly an hour later, Suchana Seth left the service apartment with her son’s body in a bag full of toys and clothes.
