Watch: In last address to Lok Sabha, PM Modi highlights government’s reforms


Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the major reforms by the NDA government in his last address in the 17th Lok Sabha on Saturday.

He said that the mantra of the NDA government has been “reform, perform and transform” and the Lok Sabha took several decisions that were awaited for a long time, including the scrapping of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and the ban on triple talaq.

The Prime Minister said that democracy would be stronger the more quickly “the government gets out of people’s day-to-day lives”, adding that he believes in ‘minimum government, maximum governance’.

He further said that the productivity of the 17th Lok Sabha was 97 per cent and 30 bill were passed during its term.
