Chandrababu Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh makes big claim, says Jagan Reddy murdered his uncle

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) general secretary Nara Lokesh on Sunday alleged that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy murdered his uncle YS Vivekananda Reddy.

“Jagan Reddy killed his own ‘Babai’ (uncle). Is he ready to kill more family members? I’m asking Jagan Reddy if he is ready to destroy the state,” he said while addressing a rally in Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam district.

YS Vivekananda Reddy, a former state minister, was allegedly murdered at his native Pulivendula village in Kadapa district in March 2019.

Nara Lokesh said that the Jagan Reddy-led YSRCP government had “illegally” imprisoned his father and TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu for 53 days.

“In the past four years, several cases have been filed against TDP activists with 22 cases on me, including attempted murder and atrocities. The officials and YSRCP leaders deliberately troubled the TDP leaders and their names have been codified in the Red Book,” Nara Lokesh was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.

Continuing his tirade against Jagan Reddy, the TDP leader said, “He made the state the ganja capital of India.”

Nara Lokesh asked if people were ready to send Jagan Reddy to jail. “Is Jagan Reddy ready to kill more backward-class children like Amarnath Goud and Dalits like Dr Sudhakar?” he questioned.

“Three incidents happened recently. They killed Tahsildar Ramaiah in Visakhapatnam for not cooperating with the land grabbing. incident was of Agricultural Assistant Poojitha, who was working in the RBK (Rythu Bharosa Kendras or farmers’ facilitation centres) centre in Bapatla district, and died of suicide. When the YSRCP leaders looted fertilisers from the RBK centres, Poojitha was forced and harassed to pay the money for the fertilisers and because of this, she ended her own life,” he said.

“JE Ramakrishna, who was working in the Panchayat department in Vizianagaram district, hung himself to a fan. When he opposed the stealing of sand and iron by YSRCP leaders, they harassed him and made him take the extreme step,” Nara Lokesh further said.

Accusing him of “deceiving” the young people, Nara Lokesh claimed that Jagan Reddy did not release a DSC (District Selection Committee) notification in the past four years.

He alleged that Jagan Reddy was trying to fool people with the promise to release DSC notifications for 6,100 posts. “TDP will form the government and conduct the DSC exam every year,” Nara Lokesh further said.

The YSRCP or Jagan Reddy did not comment on Nara Lokesh’s allegations at the time of writing this story.
